Summary

Efficiency Vermont offers rebates to encourage the installation of efficient compressors. Rebate amounts are dependent upon equipment type. There is no set limit on the amount of rebates that a customer may receive, but projects involving more than 250 individual items subject to a rebate or for new construction cannot use the standard application form and should contact Efficiency Vermont. The current application form is located here.

There are incentives for rotary screw and vane compressors (10-40 HP; 41-100 HP requires prior approval), air receiver tanks for load/no-load screw and vane compressors, cycling refrigerated thermal mass dryers (up to 300 CFM capacity), no-loss drains, and air-entraining air nozzles.

Customers of the Burlington Electric Department (BED) must return the rebate form to BED directly. Applicants must comply with eligibility requirements, use only the eligible equipment, and follow all terms and conditions.
