ENERGY STAR High efficiency boiler 90% AFUE: $300
ENERGY STAR High efficiency furnace 95% AFUE: $300
ENERGY STAR Natural Gas Storage Tank Water Heater: $50
High Efficiency Furnace Fan Motor: $100
Residential Gas Heat Conversion: $200
Equipment Requirements:
Furnaces, Boilers and Water Heaters: must be ENERGY STAR qualified
Furnaces: Must have a 95% or greater AFUE rating; fan efficiency of less than or equal to 2%; air leakage less than 2%
Boilers: Must have an 90% or greater AFUE rating
Storage tank water heaters: Must have an EF of 0.67 for up to 55 gallons. If larger than 55 gallons, EF must be 0.77
Installation Requirements:
Conversions and replacements by PECO natural gas customers eligible. Philadelphia Gas Works customers ineligible for PECO gas rebates

Summary

The PECO Natural Gas Efficiency Upgrade Program offers various incentives for installing energy efficient gas equipment in homes.  The program is available to PECO natural gas customers in the natural gas service area of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties. All equipment must meet program efficiency requirements. Rebates can be applied online or can be mailed in. 

Fuel switching rebates may also be available to eligible PECO customers. Appliances for use in new construction are not eligible for this program. For more information, and to access application forms, visit the program web site.
