Summary

The Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority (OMPA) offers the Demand and Energy Efficiency Program (DEEP) to eligible commercial, industrial, and municipal government customers served by OMPA. This program encourages facilities to make energy efficient upgrades which cut summer peak demand. OMPA will provide financial incentives, energy audit and analysis services, and in some cases match the energy efficient investment of the facility. All projects are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and incentives vary based upon the estimated savings and peak demand impact. Upgrades may include lighting, HVAC, food service equipment, motors, pumps, and other custom measures. Incentives above $100,000 require approval by the OMPA board. Customers must be willing to meet or exceed OMPA project investment in order to be eligible. Commercial Customers are eligible for both DEEP and WISE rebates, although they will only receive an incentive check from one program.

Interested customers must submit a complete application, including a full project description with a cost summary for labor, equipment and materials. Applications may be found on the program website listed above. Contact OMPA for any other information on this program or view the customer brochure.
