Summary

Xcel Energy's Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program provides incentives to install energy efficiency measures in Xcel service territory. Rebates are available for LED and CFL light bulbs, as well as refrigerator recycling. Customers may also participate in Xcel's Smart Thermostat Pilot Program to have a smart thermostat installed for free and receive a $25 bill credit for participation. Participants must allow Xcel to limit (for no longer than 4 hours) the amount of time air conditioning units may be run on hot days when the grid reaches its highest system peak demand levels ("events").
