Summary

This ordinance requires LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) Green Building rating system for all newly constructed and renovated city-owned facilities in the city of St. Louis. This applies to all newly constructed city-owned facilities greater than five thousand (5,000) square feet, which must meet the LEED silver level of certification. The city of St. Louis will continuously follow the updates to the LEED rating system and will apply the updates to any new project.
