Hutchinson Utilities Commission (HUC) offers a variety of rebates to residents of Hutchinson who perform energy conservation improvements to their home. Rebates are available for a variety of energy efficient equipment including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, geothermal and air-source heat pumps, water heaters, refrigerators, clothes washers and dryers, dehumidifiers, programmable thermostats, and LED lighting. All equipment must meet certain energy efficiency standards listed on the program website. Rebates are also available for central air conditioner tune-ups. The rebate applications must include an original itemized sales receipt and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit the program website for more information.
