Chicopee Electric Light Department (CELD) is participating in the Massachusetts Municipal Whoesale Electric Company's Green Opportunity Proagram to encourage non-residential, commercial, and industrial facilities to pursue energy saving measures and install energy efficient lighting and equipment in eligible facilities. CELD offers technical assistance, incentives, and low-interest financing through this program.
Incentives are provided for lighting upgrades, HVAC upgrades, new construction projects, and custom measures. The maximum rebate available is generally $25,000 per customer, per year. For additional information on incentive amounts, project guidelines, and eligibility, review the program website.
