Summary

Mass Save organizes residential energy conservation services for programs administered by Massachusetts electric companies, gas companies, and municipal aggregators. Rebates for various energy efficiency improvements are offered through Mass Save to residential customers of Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid, and Unitil.

Rebate applications are available online for appliance and heating/cooling system rebates. Mass Save offers discounted prices through its online store for shower fixtures, CFL/LED lighting and fixtures, and advanced powerstrips. Lighting discounts can also be obtained in-store at participating retailers. Equipment must be purchased and installed between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016 to be eligible for a rebate. Applications must be postmarked by January 31, 2017.

Mass Save also offers customers an incentive of 75%-100% of the cost of installing approved insulation improvements. Low-income customers and multi-family building owners may be eligible for additional incentives, including a free comprehensive energy assessment. See the program website listed above for details on each of Mass Save's residential energy efficiency rebate offerings. Program contact information for your utility can be found here.
