Summary

Northeastern Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC) is a consumer-owned corporation that supplies electric power to more than 25,000 members in Northeastern Indiana. Northeastern REMC offers rebates to its residential customers for the purchase of geothermal heat pumps, air-source heat pumps,and water heaters. Geothermal Heat Pumps are eligible for a rebate of $500 or $100/ton up to $1,000, whichever is greater. Air Source Heat Pumps are eligible for a rebate of $250 per unit. Water heaters are eligible for a rebate of $400 per unit. See the program web site for specific equipment and rebate payment details.
