Summary

Dubois REC offers a variety of rebates for residential customers to save energy in new or existing homes. Rebates are offered for geothermal, dual fuel, mini-split, and air-source heat pumps, as well as heat pump water heaters. Rebate to CFL and LED bulbs is applied to purchase when certain conditions are met. All equipment must meet certain standards listed on the program web site. To qualify, the home in which the equipment is installed must be a permanent residence, occupied year-round, and an energy management switch must be installed on rebated equipment. All homeowners and future homeowners receiving rebates from the electric cooperative agree to the future installation of an energy management switch on these rebated appliances to allow future peak demand energy management procedures. Participating members can print out the rebate request form, complete it and return it to the Dubois REC office.
