Summary

Lakeland Electric offers several incentives for commercial customers to save energy in eligible facilities. Rebates are available for energy saving improvements that are recommended through the energy audit, including lighting systems, HVAC and motors. Though lighting systems, HVAC systems and motors are most commonly upgraded under this program, other measures and lighting technologies will be evaluated on a case by case basis. The commercial lighting rebate is $0.15 per Watt reduced for all lighting retrofits where incandescent bulbs are replaced with CFL, LED, or T8/T5 fluorescent lighting. These two rebate programs are specifically available to GSLD, Interruptible, and ELDC rate customers. All rebates are subject to approval and contingent upon fund availability. Contact the utility for further information and guidelines regarding this program.
