Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) offers incentives for its residential customers to purchase and install energy efficient equipment and measures for the homes. Rebate charts of eligible products and equipment are available on the SMUD program web site listed above. Equipment requirements may be found on the rebate chart and must be met by all participating customers. The Home Performance Program requires that a home energy evaluation be performed to determine the most effective efficiency measures to utilize.
