Summary

California's retail electricity suppliers must disclose to all customers the fuel mix used in the generation of electricity. Utilities must use a standard label created by the California Energy Commission (CEC), and this information must be provided to end-use customers annually. Utilities must also disclose this information in all product-specific written marketing materials distributed to consumers.
